SINGAPORE TRIP 1.0

Hi everyone, for my first entry post I'll share you my experience with my to best friend strolling around best place in Singapore. Yay! For your info, Singapore is located next to Johor Bahru which is easy for me to go by myself. What you only need is; passport, Singapore dollars and drinking water! You'll need to walk all the way to get the bus and the MRT.

It was a wonderful short getaway with these two fellas!  We were able to go to few places such as Vivo City, Sentosa Island, Marina Bay Sand, Gardens by The Bay, Infinity Pool and Orchard Road.

We meet up at Johor Bahru Central at 8.00 am. We took the bus number 905 from CIQ to Woodlands costs us $1 each, then after custom check point, we continue our bus ride to Marsiling MRT Station. Actually, there is a bus where they can send you direct to Sentosa Island from JB which cost you about $5, but we choose to take the MRT instead of riding the bus so we can familiar ourselves with the MRT station.

Here's the MRT Map you can refer to when you're in Singapore.

We have to transit at Dhoby Ghaut station to Habour Front station to arrive at Vivo City.
There will be a Sentosa Express which provides easy access to Sentosa, Harbour Front Center and St. James Power Station. So it costs us for $4/return each only from Vivo City to Sentosa Island and it took us only 5 minutes to arrive!

The Sentosa Express is located at Level 3 Lobby L, Vivo City.
You can use the ez-link card or by coins.

This is my ez-link card. It can be use for bus ride and MRT and also can be topup anytime you want.

Next, at 2pm we took the MRT to Marina Bay Sands. It took us about 30-45 minutes to arrive there (because we walk too slow so we took about 45 minutes to arrive). The scenery was very peace and calm, this is a good scenery where you can see part of Singapore and the flowers were very beautiful!

Infinity Pool at the top of the hotel. It costs only $25 for the entrance fees.
You really should give it a try, no regret!

Gardens by The Bay
(you can see the Singapore Flyer at our back) & it's free, you only need to
take the elevator from the mall and you'll see the entrance to Gardens by The Bay.

Last before we went back, we stop at Orchard Road for shopping!
There are a lot of branded outlet that you can't find at Malaysia. & don't forget to drop by at Takashimaya where all the branded stuffs are on sales. The sales usually give you up to 80% discounts. It is a place you must go if you're in Singapore!!!

We went back at 7.00pm by bus, from Marsailing MRT Station.
It was a really great short getaway with these two fellas.
We were planning for our next short vacation to an island somewhere around Malaysia.
Buckle up, I'll share my short vacation on my next post!
